What is Social Research

Social Research is a method used by social scientists and researchers to understand societies with an aim of designing products, services, or projects that cater to the needs of the group under study. Social research is backed by the very fact that different socioeconomic groups belonging to different parts of a country tend to think differently.

Therefore, various aspects of human behavior need to be addressed to understand their thoughts and feedback about the social world. This can only be done by carrying out in-depth Social Research. In Africa, this type of research is usually meant to evaluate the performance of projects. It is necessitated by the enormous amount of work done by NGOs.
