What is Social Research
Social Research is a method used by social scientists and researchers to understand societies with an aim of designing products, services, or projects that cater to the needs of the group under study. Social research is backed by the very fact that different socioeconomic groups belonging to different parts of a country tend to think differently.
Therefore, various aspects of human behavior need to be addressed to understand their thoughts and feedback about the social world. This can only be done by carrying out in-depth Social Research. In Africa, this type of research is usually meant to evaluate the performance of projects. It is necessitated by the enormous amount of work done by NGOs.

Baseline surveys are carried out at the beginning of a project to asses its status. They are often done to collect basic information about demographics and other baseline data before the introduction of a program or project to a particular community.
MTEs are conducted for an ongoing program or project in order to assess the continued relevance of an intervention and the progress made towards achieving its planned objectives.
They provide an opportunity to make adjustments so as to achieve the set objectives within the lifetime of the project. At PARS we walk the journey throughout all research stages with our clients until they get their desired results.
End term evaluations asses both short-term and long-term projects while putting emphasis on conclusive data. They basically build conclusions and help build knowledge for the future.
Their main aim is to determine the outcomes, expected or unexpected, as measured, by answering to a project‘s Relevance, Effectiveness, Sustainability And External Utility.
